AGP Contributes to NIACC Capital Campaign

AGP is among the contributors to the Capital Campaign of North Iowa Area Community College (NIACC), Mason City, IA. Dr. Steve Schulz, President, NIACC, accepted the donation from AGP’s representative, Mark Meierotto, Merchandising Manager at the Company’s soybean processing facility in Mason City.

North Iowa Area Community College is a nationally-ranked, two-year institution located in North Central Iowa. The College offers a strong curriculum in agriculture, accounting, and business among its variety of degrees and programs.

NIACC has already begun to develop several projects related to the Capital Campaign, including a new Diesel Technology Center engaging its first classes of students. The College has plans to continue the momentum of fundraising for its next large project, a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) facility.

“Advancing STEM education for our students is critical to our region so that we can properly support workforce needs and continue to strengthen our economies in North Iowa,” said campaign co-chair, Gary Wattnem. NIACC plans to have all of the campaign initiatives completed in time to celebrate the College’s 100th anniversary in 2018.

“We are pleased to help support NIACC which has benefited so many students, businesses, and communities over the College’s near-100 year history,” said Keith Spackler, AGP CEO. “With the contributions from numerous individuals, businesses, and foundations to the Capital Campaign, NIAAC will continue to be a leader in community college education.”
