AGP Receives Award from Hastings Chamber of Commerce

AGP received the top honor from the Hastings, NE Chamber of Commerce at the organization’s annual banquet on February 15. The Company’s facility at Hastings was recognized with the Pioneer Spirit Award. This prestigious honor is awarded to successful businesses that have made significant contributions to the community in the areas of leadership and philanthropy for the past twenty years or more.

As part of the awards banquet, a video profiling AGP was shown to the audience detailing the Company’s economic and philanthropic contributions to the community.

“On behalf of the 140 employees at AGP’s facility in Hastings, including some who are representing us here tonight, we are grateful to receive this honor,” said Jodie Johnson, Marketing Manager, during the acceptance speech. “We’ve made a sizable investment in this community over the past couple of years with a plant expansion. Obviously that means we’re going to be a partner with the Hastings community and the agricultural community in this region for a long time. Thank you again for this award.”
