LEAD Nebraska Visits AGP

Thirty Fellows of Nebraska LEAD Group 35 recently visited AGP as part of their two-year educational program.  LEAD stands for Leadership Education/Action Development and its stated mission is: “To Prepare and Motivate Men and Women in Agriculture for More Effective Leadership.”  All participants are Nebraska residents involved in either production agriculture, agribusiness, or a closely related occupation.  LEAD strives to address the needs of men and women involved in the business of agriculture by affording opportunities to broaden their knowledge and strengthen their leadership and decision-making abilities.

Matt Caswell, Vice President, Member/Corporate Relations and Government Affairs, gave an overview of the Company and discussed agricultural policy advocacy with the group.
